Care
Our ultimate goal is to ensure that every person who walks through our doors experiences a profound sense of belonging and significance. With your generous support, CLCC continues to serve as an indispensable ministry of the church, extending a helping hand to individuals and families facing adversity within our local community, while making a profound impact and effecting positive change in their lives every day.
Christian
College
Our campus at Narre Warren South is now in its fourteenth year of operation and has over 1100 students enrolled from Prep to Year 12. We continue to be encouraged by the growth of our second campus and the opportunities it is providing to extend Christian Education in one of Australia’s most rapidly developing municipalities.
In April of this year, at a cost of $1.1 million, we completed the construction of a large shade structure covering the sports courts. Very visible from the road, this greatly enhances the look and feel of the campus and, more importantly, provides a second space, unaffected by weather, for the delivery of our sports program across both Primary and Secondary classes. Improved landscaping associated with the courts and adjacent the new Junior Secondary building has also been completed.
Impact
The solar project provides reliable electricity which is essential for daily life and productivity. This initiative helps assess the scope of the installation and manages solar panel installations to optimise generation of electricity, overcoming the issue of chronic electricity shortages.
Waverley Christian College
Waverley Christian College is a school community where young people are challenged to develop an uncompromising faith in Jesus Christ and learn to grow in love for God and others. The aim of the College is to provide students with the opportunity to participate in a vibrant learning environment, grow in knowledge and wisdom, and develop God-given gifts and abilities. The College has an enrolment of over 2,400 students across campuses at Wantirna South and Narre Warren South. A significant capital development program is required to meet the demands of the growing school community.
Our campus at Narre Warren South is now in its fifteenth year of operation and has over 1150 students enrolled from Prep to Year 12. We continue to be encouraged by the growth of our second campus and the opportunities it is providing to extend Christian Education in one of Australia’s most rapidly developing municipalities.
Work will begin soon on a Senior Learning and Resource Centre which will be a state-of-the-art three-storey building that has been designed to support a dynamic and engaging learning environment for students and staff. In addition to the Resource Centre for both Primary and Secondary students, the building will house a dedicated Senior Student Study and Common Areas with various seated breakout spaces for both individual and collaborative learning and a Careers (pathways) precinct. The building will also provide much needed General Learning and Vocational Major (VM) Classrooms for the expanded senior program.
