Terms & Conditions
Your event must comply with the Venue Hire Terms and Conditions.
1. Eligibility
- Venue hire is available only to Christian organisations, community organisations, and schools.
- All activities must align with our beliefs and values.
- We reserve the right, at our discretion, to approve or decline any booking request.
2. Availability
- Venue hire is not available from Friday midday to Sunday night.
- Bookings are offered as full-day or half-day only. Hourly bookings are not available.
- Certain blackout periods apply (e.g. 7–14 October 2025 and December 2025). Bookings for 2026 are not yet open.
3. Booking Requirements
- A minimum booking fee of $250 applies.
- For auditorium bookings, a minimum of 1,000 attenders is required. Each booking includes a Technical Director and a Venue Manager.
- The venue is not available for birthday celebrations.
4. Conduct on Premises
- No alcohol and no smoking are permitted on the premises at any time.
- All users must respect the facilities and ensure the venue is left clean and tidy.
5. Cancellations
- Cancellations are not accepted within 5 working days of the event.
- Auditorium bookings cannot be cancelled under any circumstances.
- If a cancellation is made within 5 working days, the deposit will be withheld.
6. General Conditions
- We reserve the right to amend or update these terms at any time.
The hirer hereby agrees to the following conditions:
- To follow at all times the instructions of the Event Manager, particularly in relation to use of equipment, furniture and response to emergency.
- It is the responsibility of the hirer to set up rooms according to needs and on the basis of the furniture made available by the church.
- To hold harmless the owner of the property for all damages, costs, actions, demands and claims, which may be sustained by or suffered by the owner of its employees arising out of the hire of the property.
- Where necessary, to provide evidence of public liability insurance for an indemnity of not less than $10,000,000 covering any damage to the hired property or any legal liability that may arise from the use of the hired property.
- To keep the hired property in good repair and condition, returning it in the same state as it was at the commencement of the period of hire.
- To reimburse the owner for the cost of repairing any damage incurred to the hired property or its contents during the period of hire. The bond will be first used to rectify any damage, should value of damage be less than the bond then the balance of the bond will be returned. Should value of repair exceed the bond then an invoice for the balance of repair will be issued.
- Not to permit alcohol to be consumed or brought onto the hired property.
- To allow the owner or its employees, contractors where applicable access to the hired property during the period of hire for the purpose of inspection.
- Not to remove from the hired property contents or fixtures belonging to the owner.
- To use the hired property in the a manner that will not annoy, disturb, interfere with or damage property belonging to the owner, tenants, occupiers of the hired property or occupiers of other properties in the neighbourhood.
- To leave the facility in a generally neat and tidy condition according to the instructions of the Event Manager. Any excessive mess, including food stains in carpet, may incur additional cleaning to that detailed on this invoice.
- Not to use the hired property in a manner which could cause a risk to the health and safety of others.
- Not to bring equipment or materials on to the hired property without the prior permission of the owner.
- Not to carry out any activities on the hired property which may prejudice the insurance cover on the hired property.
The hirer further agrees that:
This agreement is deemed to be cancelled immediately should any of the above conditions not be met by the hirer.
