Pete

Mekong

Peter became a part of CityLife Church in 2000, then in 2004 they felt called to join the CityLife Church plant in Hobsons Bay (now known as FaithLife Church). Over the years they held various leadership roles there, including the role of Missions Director and spearheading missions at FaithLife for 11 years.

In early 2016, he and his wife felt that it was the right season to respond to various prophetic words they had received and take a further step of faith deeper into missions. Particularly to churches in impoverished developing nations that have a focus on church planting. They moved to Cambodia and joined New Life Fellowship (New Life Fellowship).

Pete feels called to serve the Cambodian church (primarily New Life Fellowship) in whatever capacity New Life Fellowship’s leadership feels appropriate and to support New Life Fellowship’s church panting goals.

Mainly involved in governance, strategy and leadership training in New Life Fellowship. His heart is to work alongside New Life Fellowship to implement suitable programs and projects that would complement church planting with community development in the local context.

Pete currently heads the Kingdom Financial Sustainability team at CityLife World Impact. This is a team of business people at CityLife who are committed to assisting our field partners raise up Kingdom-minded entrepreneurs in the congregations and create income generating projects for ministry.
