Field Partners

Australia

Since 2006, CityLife Church has had a fruitful Indigenous Ministry reaching out to Indigenous Australians in some of the most remote areas of Australia.

As a church community, we contributed to the support of field partners and many projects.

There are nearly 400 aboriginal communities in Australia. Some are on the outskirts of the hottest, most inhospitable deserts and hundreds of kilometres from shops, schools and services. Many of these communities are without hope and struggling with alcohol and substance abuse. We believe that the answer for Indigenous communities is Jesus and that they can be radically changed by the power of God. With a new-found identity in Christ and discipleship, our indigenous people can become strong, positive role models and leaders.

CityLife is supporting Aboriginal communities in the outback as well as in urban cities. This has recently resulted in raising funds to supply a 12-seat bus for both Nhulunbuy Northern Territory and Cardwell Far North Queensland.

Following a Short-Term Mission trip to Halls Creek Western Australia, Glenn Danaher from CityLife Casey is now leading the Aboriginal Church in Kununurra Western Australia and outreaching to other remote Aboriginal communities.

We praise and thank God for all that He is doing through CityLife Indigenous Mission.
