LifeTracks
LifeTracks is a life development and leadership course, designed to help you build solid theological foundations, understand church life, explore deep personal and spiritual issues and prepare you for active service.
We believe God calls each person to develop their potential in order to be able to serve others effectively. LifeTracks is an outstanding course specifically designed to assist you in your journey of personal and ministry development. We highly recommend it.
Track 1 - Christian Life
This Track explains the beliefs that make up the foundation of our Christian faith.
Track 2 - Church Life
This course provides an in-depth understanding of CityLife Church's mission, values, vision, statement of faith, structure and governance model. Upon completion you will have an opportunity to become a partner with CityLife Church.
Track 3 - Personal Life
The purpose of this course is to strengthen the 'inner world' of the believer by addressing personal and spiritual issues. We will discuss strategies to help you handle emotions, relationships and life-contradictions through freedom in Christ.
Track 4 - Leader's Life
This course is designed for Life Groups and the Life Group leadership community. It trains leaders in skills that can creatively empower a small group to make disciples, reach out and multiply.
Track 5 - Group Life
This course is designed for Life Groups and the Life Group leadership community. It trains leaders in skills that can creatively empower a small group to make disciples, reach out and multiply.
Track 6 - Coach Life
The Coach Life course will equip you to walk alongside an individual or a group to help them clarify goals, develop strategies, overcome challenges, and achieve personal or spiritual growth.

Advanced Tracks
We encourage everyone to complete LifeTracks 1 to LifeTracks 6 above before proceeding to the following courses. Please note that some courses require participants to complete all Track above. Please refer to the course detail.
Our new Leadership Hub is open to all leaders at CityLife, providing high quality leadership training and development. The year-long program is built around 3Cs: Content (teaching material), Context (your leadership environment) and Coaching (happens each session during your cluster group).
Leadership Hub runs on Monday nights (7-9pm) at CityLife Knox and includes 20 teaching and learning sessions.

Who should do Lifetracks?
Lifetracks is for everyone. Lifetracks is CityLife Church’s life and leadership development pathway. Through the different courses, it is designed to help you build solid theological foundations, understand church life, explore deep personal and spiritual issues and prepare for active service in the church.
Where do I start?
Everyone starts with Track 1 Christian Life and progresses through to Track 6 Coach Life
What does Lifetracks cost?
Currently all Lifetracks Tracks are FREE. However, some Advanced Tracks may require a fee imposed by the course.
What is the time commitment required to do Lifetracks?
Lifetracks is conducting in 2 modes: Onsite (In-person) and Online.
Onsite mode is run in a classroom at various church sites at various times.
Currently at Knox, Lifetracks are conducted once a term (school term) on a Saturday morning 9am-1pm. If you sign up for one Track, you will complete that Track on that Saturday morning. You can only sign up for one Track on that Saturday morning.
At other church sites, Lifetracks may be conducted over 2 or more days.
Online mode is run at various dates over the year. This is a self-paced learning course over approximately 2 weeks on the Moodle Learning Management System. During the duration of the course, you will get to interact with your cohorts via workshops and discussion forums. The structure of the Online course comprised of the following:
- Orientation Workshop (30-min, via Zoom)
- Self-Paced Online Learning (over 2 weeks on Moodle)
- Course Workshop (1 hour, via Zoom)
What age must I be to start Lifetracks?
Lifetracks can be started at the recommended age of 16.
Partnership, which is offered at the completion of Track 1 & 2 can only be offered to those who are 18 or above.
Do you have a program for children during Lifetracks?
There is no children’s program available, so parents will need to make alternative arrangements for their children.
What do I need to bring along to Lifetracks?
It is recommended you bring your Bible or have access to a Bible App, a pen, a notebook to take notes. Student manuals will be provided for Track 1 to 6.
Some Advanced Tracks may provide handout notes.

Will my progress be tracked?
CityLife Church records your successful completion of all Lifetracks Courses (and Advanced Tracks).
This record is kept so you can track your progress along the various training pathways and is used as a qualification for serving in various ministries within CityLife. For example, you must complete Track 1 & 2 before you are offered the opportunity to become a Partner.
Do I have to register for Lifetracks Courses?
Yes. Registration is encouraged. With hundreds of people at a time doing Lifetracks, the logistics are complex. It is important to know who is attending, and which course, so that we can ensure rooms are setup, enough notes or manuals and refreshments are provided etc.
Who teaches in Lifetracks Courses?
We have a gifted team of speakers with a wealth of experience comprising of our Senior Minister, Multi-site Leadership Team, Network Pastors, Life Group Coaches, Life Group Leaders, and external guest speakers.

Lifetracks has been developed over the last 17 years. Most of the course content of previous course has been updated and many new courses (tracks) have been added. For this reason, we encourage you to consider doing these Tracks.
