EPIC WE ARE Join Us We are the Youth of CityLife Church. We are one church in multiple locations: Knox, Manningham, Casey, Whittlesea, Melbourne City and Online. EPIC Youth exists to partner with families to create a platform and environment where young people can encounter God and explore their faith. Calendar Camp YOUTH JOIN US Born in 1985, Aveline grew up near abandoned factories and industrial skylines. These raw landscapes became her first sketches and lasting inspiration. Art as Translation For Aveline, art is not escape but translation — the act of turning fleeting emotions and unspoken moments into textures, colors, and space. Early Works Her early canvases captured concrete walls, rust, and forgotten corners. Each painting echoed the beauty hidden in decay and imperfection. Breaking Through In 2012, her first solo exhibition marked a turning point. Critics praised her ability to blend intimacy with large-scale urban narratives. The Turning Point The success of her first exhibitions marked a shift — from promising newcomer to an artist with a distinct, recognizable voice. Layer upon layer, Aveline builds meaning. Fragmented perspectives and recurring motifs have since become her signature style. Signature Style Never bound by medium, Aveline expands into sculpture, digital art, and collaborative performance, challenging what painting can become. Beyond the Canvas The Current Voice Residencies in Tokyo, Berlin, and Mexico City have shaped her latest series. These works weave global influences into a mature, layered vision that defines her art today. Recognized Worldwide Her work has been shown in over 30 countries and collected internationally. Awards and critical acclaim continue to affirm her place in the global art scene. To the Beginning The Story Continues In her studio today, each new canvas begins where the last left off.
